Took a trip to a writer’s retreat in Shropshire that turned into a total nightmare when I got inexplicably sicker than I’ve ever been in my life and spent the entire week upchucking. But before that happened, I took a picture of the most beautiful tree ever.

It seemed churlish to withhold this middle-of-Lidl impulse purchase, which I bought entirely because my partner pointed at it and said, “Cat Kidston!” (It’s actually a dog bed, but George doesn’t seem to mind.)
