Nice to attend #UKSF24 at Liverpool. I'm sure it won't be long before attending another one in the future. Good mix of research, implementation challenges and MDT working for all matters relating to stroke.

Lots of people have been asking about this, so in summary: being on the specialist register is no longer an absolute *legal requirement* for consultant appointments at foundation trusts. (I believe it is still a requirement for non-FTs under the AAC regulations.) However… 1/
Can you be a substantive consultant in the NHS but not on the specialist register? (apologies if I have misunderstood the post)
