#FluorescenceFriday - Today we have got a 10X expanded Toxoplasma Gondii with labelled microtubules. The unexpanded length of the parasite is equivalent to the width of the bright conoid up top. 2 daughter parasites are formed through endodogeny. A pregnant parasite dangerous to pregnant humans.

#Fluorescencefriday When malaria parasites get back from human to mosquito, they undergo a rapid transformation to enable the formation of a fertilised zygote. Below are male parasite which form 8 individual gametes (the wiggly ones) in 15 minutes!! One nucleus becomes 8 in some rapid rapid biology!
