Wow now understand what the four segments of light mean in the bar. That’s what really spooked me last night. The time stamp is 18:28:15 however it may be a minute or two either way. My cameras are not perfectly synced

I had a wonderful evening at the Irish Press Photographer of the year awards in Dublin last night. I was named News photographer of the year and best use of technology for a Drone image.

So you never thought you could have empathy for riot cops ? Think again lol. Honestly this is a tremendous show. The action / lighting/ performances and especially the sound are 10/10

Does anyone know why the #Silo books Wool / Dust / Sand by Hugh Towey are not available on @audible_com Ireland? I’m absolutely loving the show on Apple TV and want to read the books now.

I had the pleasure to photograph and watch Gearóid Ó Cairealláin act in many plays over the years. He simply dedicated his entire life to his love of the Irish Language and he has left a wonderful legacy of art and educational institutions behind him. My deepest condolences to his family

What’s your favorite funeral story? At my great granny’s wake, one of my uncles mixed up all the dozens of dentures soaking in pint glasses of water in the bathroom. The next morning watching the looks of confusion on the faces of my elder relatives was hilarious. They had to swop them for an hour.

l've just completed a seriously challenging hostile environment course which saw our team taken hostage, rescued, mortared, extorted by corrupt police and treating all sorts of casualties from gun shot wounds to land mine victims. Great fun but a serious reality check about the dangers of our job.
