Sky News has located their camp in Israeli-held territory. Aid agencies confirm this Israeli-armed "anti-terror" militia is the same group that routinely seizes and loots aid trucks.

EU states should be alarmed by this.

The exception that proves the rule:

This is the Turkish Palestinian Friendship Hospital. Just north of Al Mughraqa, it remains untouched in this image because it was evacuated by the IDF and used as their base. On restarting the genocide last month, one of Israel's first moves was to detonate it.

I'd be surprised if there's any place in the world that's been destroyed quite as systematically as the "Netzarim Corridor". It's reminiscent of images from Hiroshima after the atomic bombing.

Gaza used to produce a significant amount of its own food. The destruction of farmland, greenhouses and agricultural communities is likely intended to facilitate the starvation of Palestinians.

New satellite imagery on Google Maps shows what Israel has done to the agricultural communities in the so-called "Netzarim Corridor" created by the IDF between Wadi Gaza and Gaza City.

Don't take my word for it, look for yourself. This is just southeast of Al Zahra.

That makes him the 233rd Palestinian journalist or media worker killed by Israeli forces in Gaza since October 2023 according to Costs of War project at Brown University.

That makes the "war" on Gaza the deadliest known war for journalists by a wide margin.

He was eventually pulled out and taken to the adjacent Nasser Hospital was severe burns over his entire body. Somehow he'd survived. He succumbed to his injuries a few hours ago.

Palestinians and Israelis live under the authority of one state: Israel. But to Israelis in Tel Aviv, Gaza may as well be another planet.

How is this possible? A deliberate system of hermetic separation (apartheid).

Pro-democracy protests on one side of the wall, genocide on the other.

Btw, the US Senate unanimously voted to confirm this guy as Secretary of State.

Gaza is merely the largest and least fortunate of Israel's many Palestinian Bantustans. The rest are an archipelago of West Bank towns and cities under the nominal administration of Palestinian Authority. Those who are against sovereignty or equal citizenship for Palestinians are for apartheid.
March 6, 2025 at 10:29 PM
In practice, every Bantustan was wholly dependent on South Africa. The black population of every Bantustan was used by South Africa as a cheap source of labour. No other country pretended that these were sovereign states. They were abolished after 1994 and reintegrated into South Africa.

Interesting to note that 58% of the USA's crude oil imports come from Canada. Just saying.

Can we not just agree, as a nation, to never platform David Frum again?

Is that really too much to ask?
March 4, 2025 at 12:37 AM
I don't have the patience to engage with people who are ride-or-die for Israel.

The answer to
"Israel is violating the ceasefire by blocking aid and killing Palestinians" is not "Have you considered that Hamas is EVIL?!".

If that's all you've got, then there's no conversation be to be had.

This is what it looks like when a mainstream English-language publication openly advocates for ethnic cleansing, a war crime under the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute. If they can get you to accept this, they can get you to accept anything.
