“Yatho hasta thatho drishti, Yatho drishti thatho manah.”- Sanskrit verse we’d recite at the beginning of our classical dance. It speaks of alignment, intentional awareness, working in harmony & directing senses where it matters…energy on things that serve you.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving week!

RIP…one of the best of Bollywood 💔. I always felt some resemblance to my dad (on the right).

Timeline cleanse…from space to sea.

The Pleiades (M45/the Seven Sisters) is an open star cluster in the constellation Taurus. Most can see 6–7 stars with the naked eye, but the cluster actually contains over 1,000 stars.

To anyone missing someone today…the ones that had no choice, but to leave, or the ones that chose to leave. 💫

This year’s last supermoon…meaning the Moon is near its closest point to Earth, appearing larger and brighter than usual. The November super moon is also called the Beaver from when beavers prepare for winter.
As seen from my home office. 🤩

I miss when SoMe felt stimulating. Early Twitter had this curious, chaotic energy and conversations felt real. Now everything feels more surface level. Years of SoMe have replaced conversations with content. I was never an avid user, but even from the sidelines, one can feel the difference.

The moon right now from my home office window. 🤩

Dark at 4:30 PM… who’s depressed?😅😭

The “fall back” shift is widely reported as the more depressing transition for many people - why it it still a thing? 🤷‍♀️

Messier 27 (M27) - the Dumbbell Nebula

M27 is the remnant of a dying sun-like star. When such a star exhausts its nuclear fuel, it expels its outer layers into space. The exposed core, a white dwarf, illuminates this ejected gas, creating the striking glowing shell we see.

So metaphorically on the nose - this visual alone alone could serve as a preamble to the insanity of our times, if anyone’s left to write history objectively.

The North America Nebula due to its shape resembling the North American continent. The nebula’s glow comes from ionized hydrogen gas energized by nearby hot stars. The primary ionizing source is believed to be Deneb one of the brightest stars in the night sky.

NGC 891 is a galaxy located 30 million light years away in constellation Andromeda. It shows a prominent dust lane slicing across its bright stellar disk. The dark band of interstellar dust blocks starlight, making the galaxy look split in two…reminiscent of the Milky Way. (Pic from the backyard)

NGC 281 nicknamed the Pacman Nebula because of its shape, is an emission nebula located about 9,200 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. (Pic from the backyard)

It’s tough 😂. When I have to concentrate I move to my son’s office. There’s this guy below, who literally watches over during most early morning zoom meetings. And then the crows…they’d annoy Parag with their loud chatter during meetings but are super sweet and quiet with me, since I feed them.
