I'm fairly certain we tried this before and both France and Britain ended up w egg on their face and zero credibility since they had betrayed Czechoslovakia for a temporary "peace for land."

Oh yeah. I'm sure of it. It was in 1938 and it the peace it bought lasted all of 6 months.
