This is not right-wing tech bros vs left wing activists. It is a technology that could be made accessible and helpful to many people, but is being turned into its worst incarnation under a banner that loudly proclaims "for all of humanity" while doing nothing for anyone worth less than 9 figures.

I'm not saying you have to like LLMs, or think they are useful for anything you value. But if there is even a 1% chance that these models hold any sort of power, and I think there's a lot of evidence that they do, then maybe this is what seizing the means of production looks like in 2025.
