Trans Day of Remembrance is a day to remember the lives lost to transphobia and violence.

Trans rights are human rights. I will always fight to make sure you can be who you are — openly, safely, and proudly.

As temperatures drop, I urge New Yorkers to know their rights to heat and hot water services, and to reach out to my office if their rights are being violated.

No New Yorker should be left without their home utilities as days and nights grow colder.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness was created as a promise to teachers, nurses, firefighters, and social workers that their service to our communities would be honored.

I will not let our federal government punish New York’s public servants for doing their jobs.

This evening, I stood with the hardworking New Yorkers of CWA District 1 and the NewsGuild of New York as they fight for fair treatment from Conde Nast.

I'll always support our unions and our workers.

New Yorkers, the law is clear: if you have an EBT balance, a store that accepts SNAP must allow you to use your card.

Follow these instructions and file a complaint with my office if you are denied: ag.ny.gov/consumer-complaint

I stopped by the Brooklyn Christian Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church to volunteer during a food service and talk to New Yorkers about our efforts to stop the SNAP suspension.

Millions of Americans rely on food stamps to survive.

We'll keep fighting for our families.

It was so great to join the New York NAACP’s Fights Forward event in Brooklyn this evening.

Your support means so much to me.

Thank you for all your support. I have faith in the rule of law, and I will continue my work protecting New Yorkers and Americans.

This isn’t about me. It’s about all of us.

It’s about a justice system which has been weaponized. A justice system which has been used as a tool of revenge.

My faith is strong. I have belief in the justice system and the rule of law.

For nearly a decade, Alba Services retaliated against injured New Yorkers, manipulated insurance costs, and failed to address harassment.

Now, we're delivering $1.4 million to workers harmed by this behavior.

Alba can no longer threaten, intimidate, or exploit its workforce.

We secured $1.4 million for over 700 current and former New York City construction workers whose rights were violated while working for Alba Services.

Alba spent years silencing injured workers, manipulating insurance costs, and allowing a culture of workplace harassment.

Today I stood with @governor.ny.gov to talk about our victory preserving over $33 million in critical anti-terrorism funds for the MTA.

This win keeps New Yorkers safe, and our federal funding protected.

When New York is threatened, we don’t back down.

We fight back.
October 16, 2025 at 8:44 PM
This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system.

I am not fearful — I am fearless.

We will fight these baseless charges aggressively, and my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers and their rights..

The federal government wants to make domestic violence survivors prove their immigration status to get crucial support and services.

I won't stand by as the government silences survivors of violence and endangers families: I'm suing and asking a court to block this cruel policy.
October 1, 2025 at 6:32 PM
This morning, I stood with @governor.ny.gov, my colleagues in government, and labor to condemn this administration’s government shutdown.

I'll keep fighting back against their attacks to protect New Yorkers’ rights and the resources our state is legally entitled to.

When the sun sets tonight, Jewish families in New York and around the world will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Wishing all our friends and neighbors a Shana Tova U’Metukah.

May the new year be filled with health, happiness, and peace!

Last week, I was in Saratoga Springs for the InUnity Annual Conference.

We discussed how to approach mental health and addiction issues in our state.

We’re working to ensure that everyone has the support and health care they need — together we'll meet these crises head-on.

This Hispanic Heritage Month we celebrate the history and culture of the Hispanic community here in New York.

This month is a reminder of the strength of immigrant communities — their contributions are integral to our nation.

For years, top executives of RCI bribed a former New York tax auditor with trips to their strip clubs, meals at restaurants, and thousands of dollars in cash to avoid paying over $8 million in taxes.

Today we’re charging them with dozens of crimes for their illegal scheme.

Today is National Voter Registration Day!

The right to vote is the core of our nation’s democracy.

New Yorkers, make sure you are registered to vote to get out and make your voices heard at the ballot box!

My office is releasing proposed rules for the SAFE for Kids Act, our legislation to protect kids from the harms of social media.

Social media is fueling the youth mental health crisis, and these rules will help us protect our kids online.👇

Today I joined Chasdei Lev Flatbush JCC for their annual Rosh Hashanah Food Distribution to provide food to thousands of families in need.

These dedicated organizations are a lifeline for neighbors and friends during the High Holidays.

I'm taking action to defend New York's shield law and ensure out-of-state extremists can't enforce abortion bans in our state.

I will fight every last attempt to roll back our rights and turn back the clock on reproductive freedom.

On Labor Day Weekend I had the honor of marching in the West Indian American Day Parade. I love celebrating our Caribbean communities in Brooklyn and across our state!
