#BlueWave in Newtown, CT. Democrats swept every race, ousting the incumbent Republican First Selectman and even the long-time Republican Town Clerk.
Turnout was nearly 50 percent vs. 40 percent in 2023.
We asked voters to show up for Democracy and to show up for Newtown, and they did.

A crowd of well over 100 turned out tonight in Newtown for a legislative council meeting, and people are still speaking in opposition to a proposed ordinance that would regulate rallies and demonstrations.
