And I was taught to write a research paper more times (and with more annoying systems) than I want to think about, so I’m likely overstating my autodidact nature. Somewhat.

I’m not sure I ever started a paper of any kind anywhere much more ahead than that (though I sometimes did some reading and thinking). In all honesty my ability to do that kind of turnaround has served me better at work than anything I ever learned in school, but I’m an edge case.

I prefer to think of it not as “I’m a billionaire” but rather as “I am a person lucky enough to have disposable income and I have decided to spend it doing something nice for my feet.”

Yes, PT is amazing like this. (No one has yet solved my shoe problem, but as I don’t run it’s less of a problem and more of an annoyance.)
