I disagree with Sir John Curtice's point here - Labour should be looking to capture disillusioned leftists voters. No amount of lurching to the right will appeal to Reform voters, as has been the case.

I suspect Labour will stubbornly continue their rightward trajectory and lose the next election.

Totally expected results so far this morning in Reform's favour.

Welfare were a major factor.

Labour and the Conservatives can only see this as a dismal failure and the Greens not gaining enough support from disillusioned Labour supporters.

Digital public infrastructure does not loom as large as AI in the public or policymakers’ consciousness. Yet its recent adoption and impact are just as significant, Akash Kapur writes.
Digital Public Infrastructure Could Make a Better Internet
The approach has seen rapid uptake in the global south and may even challenge the existing geopolitical order.

With every day that goes buy I am increasingly worried about the security of my American tech items. Are my iPhone and Xbox going to be safe products to use in 6 months?

What will Musk's next move be? Lay low and allow for confidence in his businesses to return, hoping it will all blow over, or go all in with a war of personality and words against Trump? I know which one I expect.

THE CANARY: DWP PIP cuts could affect a shocking 1.3 million, revealing the brutal reality behind Labour's assurances. FOI exposes the truth of a government agenda veiled in lies and cruelty against the most vulnerable.

DWP horror as true scale of PIP cuts is revealed via an FOI
The DWP had said PIP cuts will only affect 300,000 people. That was already a lie - and now, an FOI has exposed the horrific truth

With British Steel to be imminently nationalised, the question will now be asked of many other industries and utilities no doubt. Should nationalisation be deemed a success for this test case surely it would pave the way forward for more public ownership.

Liverpool will win every game to the end of the season now I would suspect. Frustrating for the club really as I feel had this situation been resolved earlier maybe other results in the cups would have gone their way - that an a bit more squad rotation.

Well according to Star Trek Lore we're only a year away from a second US Civil War that kickstarts WWIII - I'd say this is on track.

In fact, it's quit disturbing how many parallels there are between Star Trek 21st Century lore and what has happened.

Very disappointed in my local MP Hilary Benn who has ignored my emails regarding my concerns in the direction of the Labour Party - I may not have voted for Labour but I still expect my elected representatives to engage with their constituents, regardless of affiliation.

So presumably when tariffs don't work, the next step is another round of vitriol and bridge burning followed by sanctions?

There is a common theme amongst the rich who are unwilling to compromise - they see those who want fairer wealth distribution as merely envious and lazy - this is because that's how they think and feel about wealth, power, their own successes and others' perceived failures.

After every major financial crisis in the past 50 years wealth inequality has increased with the number of people controlling significant wealth and power has decreased substantially to almost a handful. This cannot continue.

Welfare cuts for the poor/disabled were not in Labour's election manifesto.

PM Keir Starmer said: “those with the broadest shoulders should bear the heavier burden”. Then hit the poorest.

Biggest cuts since those imposed by Tories in July 2015.

There is no economic/moral justification.

What will another 15 years of austerity mean for Britain?

We are technologically, educationally and logistically the most advanced we have ever been, yet disparity and scarcity is all around. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

I used to support a gentleman with schizophrenia who had his PIP stopped pending review.

I wrote a 16 page response to every single point for the MR to be lapsed.

The DWP report was full of inaccuracies/errors/contradictions.

Without help he wouldn't have been able and to respond to the report.
"I do wonder if these politicians know how hard it is to apply for PIP already. More than 80 questions, many of which require a narrative response... I had to hand the job of filling the form in to my wife years ago when it literally induced panic attacks as I tried to do it myself."
Anxieties caused by Labour PIP reforms
There are millions of people sweating on how the PIP reforms will affect their lives, and most of them will be fearing the worst

Shocking that a man whose reputation was destroyed when the public were made aware of the uncomfortable truths about his behaviour and proclivities would be peddling non-factual conspiratorial material with a view to sew mistrust in public institutions.
This is absolutely hilarious.

Russell Brand shares fake redacted file claiming that Penelope Keith shot JFK.

Clearly didn't read it.

Mind you, it's no madder than some of the other theories.
