Transgender Day of Remembrance is a solemn reminder of the deadly consequences of hate.

We’ll continue fighting every day to make New Jersey a place where our transgender neighbors can live free from fear and discrimination. #TDOR

Everyone is required to pay their fair share of taxes. We allege that this defendant was collecting sales tax from his customers, but not paying over that money to the Division of Taxation. This form of tax fraud will not be tolerated.

Honored to join Greater Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in celebrating its 214th anniversary—the oldest Black church in Trenton and a cornerstone of faith and community.

Under Rev. Dr. Boyer’s leadership, its proud legacy of justice and service continues to guide us forward.

What a joy to meet the iconic Ruby Bridges while celebrating her legacy with Hillside Public Schools for Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day!

At just 6 years old, Ruby became a trailblazer, transforming history with her bravery, and today she continues to inspire us all to fight for change.

As NJ families rightly worry about rising healthcare costs, we will not tolerate health insurers defrauding the State and overcharging us for healthcare for our dedicated public servants.

My team will hold anyone accountable—no matter how big or powerful they are.

Today we announced charges against 14 defendants for their roles in a multimillion-dollar illegal sports betting ring.

Organized crime may evolve, but our message is clear: we will pursue and prosecute those who break the law.

Great conversation with Jersey's own
@eliehonig.bsky.social.

We talked about the evolving role of prosecutors, the importance of justice and accountability, and the lessons public service can teach us all. Insightful and inspiring.

Appreciated the opportunity to meet with the Trenton Capital City Community Coalition to discuss ongoing efforts to reduce gun violence, expand community partnerships, and strengthen trust between law enforcement and residents. Building a safer, stronger Trenton remains a top priority.

Everyone in this country—no matter where they come from—is entitled to due process.

The Trump Administration’s expansion of expedited removals threatens that fundamental right, and we’re fighting back.

850,000 New Jerseyans use SNAP—350,000 are children. The Trump admin. has leveraged the full legal might of our government to deny them food.

We stopped them in court, and they told us they’d comply and fund SNAP.

Now they're trying to take it back. This is why we are fighting.

Today we honor the brave servicemembers who have served our nation with courage and sacrifice.

To all New Jersey veterans and their families—thank you for your service and your continued contributions to our communities.

Statement from Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin on Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman.

After @usdagov.bsky.social had to comply with an order to fully fund SNAP, they demanded that states undo SNAP benefits that are feeding New Jerseyans right now.

We have already secured an order barring the Trump Admin from their illegal actions.

We’ll continue to fight this in court.

This case is about more than car thefts—it is about robbing people of their sense of security and safety. We are using recently enacted laws to charge criminals who invade homes to steal key fobs so that they can steal cars, a dangerous escalation of car thefts.

Great conversations with students at @acslaw.bsky.social's chapter at Rutgers Newark.

We had a meaningful discussion about the challenges facing our justice system and the importance of public service in meeting them. I’m encouraged by the passion these future lawyers bring to the work ahead.

The defendants allegedly took advantage of a genuine need and public interest in renewable energy to trick investors into believing their company was a valuable and legitimate business. Instead, they allegedly used the company to take millions of dollars from investors.

Failure to respond quickly and properly to a resident in need of care is not only wrong but may constitute a crime. The behavior described in the indictment goes beyond mere neglect. We will not allow conduct like this in our care facilities.
