Closure on #CS2 eastbound just after Aldgate East junction. Cyclists thrown into heavy traffic. Mercifully short but hey.
Picture of roadworks across a large junction, signs say "cyclists merge with live traffic" and "cycle lane closed". In our case "live traffic included a bus and multiple mopeds/motorbikes. Not fun.

We are aware. Supposedly due to a burst water main but (a) Thames said they'd be done by close of business yesterday (and weren't) and (b) they shouldn't be closing off anything, let alone CS2 at this important section, if they're not actually doing any work. We'll chase if it's not gone by tomorrow
