In the vault of no one cares but I have to share- went to a personal property auction today and no one had bid on this lot- I thought the dishes were cute even if just a couple of them, I got them all for $1. Turns out the plates are selling for $40+ EACH and the little creamer for $75 on eBay!

Our small town has a big celebration Thanksgiving night to turn on the Christmas lights- the square shuts down and they have music, street vendors, and all the quaint locally owned shops and restaurants are open. Such a lovely way to cap off a great day with friends and family!

Bacon Parmesan garlic is the only way I can get my family to eat them, but I adore them just tossed in olive oil and slightly charred, a little balsamic vinegar, goat cheese and sometimes pecans or walnuts thrown in for good measure.

I ordered mine after the election- arriving soon! I also wish the authors would do an update to ‘How Democracies Die’ to extend through and draw parallels to more of the first Trump term and the aftermath.

I lost the second page to this recipe for garlic Parmesan Brussels sprouts and I couldn’t find a similar one online because I was in a hurry…but they turned out beautifully- and tasty!

Found this baby in a box in my garage. I couldn’t bear to throw it away when Bogey passed in 2016 and couldn’t throw it out when I moved in 2017. Throwback pic showed up from 2015 today 😍😢

This is our decoy laundry basket. Hubs throws towels in the dryer for a few, top cat gets in, unaware we are putting the actual clothes in the dryer next. Average nap is 3+ hours so we ultimately get to fold clothes without cat interference (or hair!) Bonus- dryer shakes and puts out more heat!
