In the vault of no one cares but I have to share- went to a personal property auction today and no one had bid on this lot- I thought the dishes were cute even if just a couple of them, I got them all for $1. Turns out the plates are selling for $40+ EACH and the little creamer for $75 on eBay!

Parking at the country club and a truck pulled up next to me. Woman got out, dressed like she’s going to a black tie event. Then I watched her companion get out- they walked in together holding hands. He is in jeans, a sweatshirt and a hat. I cannot wait to go inside and try to figure this out.

Gift advice needed! My mom recently acquired a sourdough starter and has been baking - rolls, bread, cookies, brownies. It’s been a great hobby since my dad died. She loves it we are all enjoying the fruits of her labor! Any useful gadgets or handy items bakers can recommend!? #baking #sourdough

I can’t with this A&M game. Usually if I just go to bed when we are behind hubby wakes me up when we’ve closed the gap but not sure that magic will work tonight.

Yes, I have a reaction to eggs. Yes, I am lactose intolerant. Do not think for a moment that I passed up on 4 of my mom’s deviled eggs today and made a whole Mac n cheese dish with all the heavy cream and evaporated milk and 2.5 lbs of cheese. I picked my battles, and it was WORTH IT!

Yes, I have a reaction to eggs. Yes, I am lactose intolerant. Do not think for a moment that I passed up on 4 of my mom’s deviled eggs today and made a whole Mac n cheese dish with all the heavy cream and evaporated milk and 2.5 lbs of cheese. I picked my battles, and it was WORTH IT!
Our small town has a big celebration Thanksgiving night to turn on the Christmas lights- the square shuts down and they have music, street vendors, and all the quaint locally owned shops and restaurants are open. Such a lovely way to cap off a great day with friends and family!

I lost the second page to this recipe for garlic Parmesan Brussels sprouts and I couldn’t find a similar one online because I was in a hurry…but they turned out beautifully- and tasty!

I don’t know why coaches in college have decided to go for it on 4th down instead of taking the points in the form of a field goal. It has cost so many teams so many games this season. I understand ‘analytics’ and ‘statistics’ but I think it is just plain coaching hubris sometimes.
