The amazing and important book Empire of Normality by @drrobertchapman.bsky.social is finally out on Audible!
Hasn't been enough for me to borrow it on Perlego until I was able to buy a physical copy in Denmark - now I can listen to it as well 😅❤️
You should too 😉

I LOVE writing but for years - decades - the risk of spelling and grammar mistakes due to my dyslexia kept me from showing my writings, which stopped me from even bothering to write.
And thus made me sad.
And then I had an aha-moment.
Which led to me to include below (see picture) in my blog posts.

A friend was stressing about email management and "office hours" as a freelancer. It resonated. But it also annoyed me. It annoyed me that it resonated. Because that meant I'd bought into and was blindly following a belief or a system I don't support.

Danish gnome-elf (nisse) + mushroom = dopamine joy!

I'm not really a Christmas person and yet I have so many decorations everywhere which confused me until I got it's all about the dopamine joy of cute stuff!

(Thought you'd appreciate my new mushroom @autisticrealms.bsky.social)

Thank you so much to everyone who's liked/ shared/ followed go.bsky.app/TtXfpAt

I was actually super anxious about the reception. This world has become an increasingly terrifying place for many, esp #BIPOC

So, to see so many people say "You are welcome in this space" via action has meant a LOT

For the longest time I couldn't figure out what to call my decoration style. Love "stuff" but not a hoarder. Can't do minimalism but dislike clutter. Then I was introduced to the concept "dopamine decor"!
(Also love fancy shoes but can't stand wearing them nor go anywhere fancy, so now they're art!)

Anyone else finding visibility hard? I'm so happy in the role of quiet observer. Great for my mind; less so for my business as self-employed 😅
I've talked to quite a few autistic entrepreneurs who struggle with this too.
Might seem obvious that it's trauma/bully related but also, maybe not... 👇

Here I am, trying to write my first post and definitely overthinking it!

If you’re also trying to figure stuff out, I’m right there with you.
