Close to 600 people for the Trenton Stand Up For Science rally. Great chants, NJ schools out in force, and scientists discovering their inner extrovert. Rush Holt led off, me at end.

There’s a tendency among liberals to take seriously accusations of bias, racism, or closemindedness. To find middle ground. But it’s time to realize that this has been weaponized.

Democrats don't have the people. At least not in the way they should. What we need are patriotic speeches and appearances that inspire voters and activists. That cast the Trump administration as evil, corrupt, fascist and un-American.

Many cognitive neuroscientists ignore the cerebellum but it's long past time to pay more attention to it (and fund more cerebellum grants).

Not just for basic science: the cerebellum is commonly affected by pediatric brain tumors, leading to lifelong motor AND cognitive deficits.

Ignoring the cerebellum is hindering progress in neuroscience
Traditionally considered a motor structure, the cerebellum has been shown to play a key role in several cognitive functions. However, for decades, the…

Academics of all stripes should actively oppose the illegal order to reduce indirect cost reimbursements. This order violates both federal regulations and the Administrative Procedures Act. Implementation would hurt scholarship throughout all disciplines.
