At the same time, very few are exempt from ending up in this position, NO ONE plans or wants to be in this position & it can happen in the blink of an eye

It’s weird to think of not having empathy & even harshly judging people in this position, to not realize how incredibly privileged it is if someone can just go to the store & get whatever they want, to not have to worry about food, costs, etc

who have no concept of this way of living & many of whom also think this is a choice. It is not a choice. I don’t go on vacations, no health insurance, no days off work, nothing.

I can’t imagine buying something like a slushie, which I’ve never had, bc it has like no calories & costs a lot.

I’m learning that many have no idea what this kind of life is like & … it’s strange to be in this position & to realize that there is a massive group of people ...

- Leftovers WILL be saved (even if it’s 1 bite of food) & eaten
- Very little food waste (which also means rarely trying a new food)

Even now, I can’t imagine going to the store & buying whatever groceries I want.

- No slushies or anything like that
- Splitting a rare can of soda or candy bar between 5 kids

Then & Now …
- Go without meals
- Choosing calorie-heavy foods bc they're cheaper & w/o those, it's no food at all
- Shopping with a budget like $30 for several meals

Aww! There's a dog that lives in my apartment complex that's 100% derpy ... which always makes me think of how you describe your dog 😂

Do the littles ever find the toys?

I wish more ppl did this, look up the practitioner, you can see if they've been reprimanded before, etc

Some ppl claim to be "Dr" & doing medical things... but they've a PhD in education, but no one looks up the credentials

You can also look up licensing requirements for professionals
