So today I learned my phone had a pending update when it decided to update in my pocket and install a bunch of nonsense apps (read: awful mobile games)

I did not have "switch to iOS" on my bingo card, but boy howdy it's coming

My 9070 XT weeps, for it is shackled to an i7-8700. It mourns for lost frames and fears the impending betrayal of the aging power supply.

My monitor reaches a decade of service. It has watched RAM come and go; two GPUs retired and repurposed. And yet it has never seen a new case fan.

Gonna be honest, I didn't know anything about Ghostrunner before installing it, and for a while I was starting to think I'd just gotten really bad at video games.

Pretty fun so far, even if I don't have the mental fortitude to play more than a couple levels at a time.

My distaste for Samsung and Google has grown so much that if Apple were to open up to 3rd party app stores I'd probably switch back to iOS.

I understand the reasoning behind it, but literally all (8) of the Steam reviews I've left are excluded from the product score.
Never realized just how little I've actually purchased directly on their storefront. isthereanydeal is just too good.

I know it's petty, but I would probably use my Steam Deck a lot more if I could get Playstation glyphs in more games. My Nintendo Brain CAN suffer through your Xbox prompts, sure.

But I probably won't bother. Not when I've got perfectly functional UI somewhere else.

So in KDE's calendar widget are the events difficult to see on purpose, or am I the only one who's moved past 720p? Is there some setting I've missed?
I changed the birthday dots to pink, but otherwise this is the default look.

I truly wonder if anyone hates their own OC as much as Astruc hates Chloe Bourgeois

After spending ~40 hours grinding for a single achievement, I finally got it but...

Now what?

A friend installed Fedora Linux and couldn't figure out why Steam would only launch through the terminal. Took us over a half hour to figure out that Nvidia was the culprit and another half hour to fix.
How is the problem always Nvidia? It's honestly impressive.

Sometimes I like to think and figure out what my favorite movie is at the moment. Is it Shaun of the Dead? Paddington 2? The Princess Bride? The Nice Guys?
But the inescapable truth is that there isn't much to be figured out while Rango exists

I was told resizing and rearranging partitions with operating systems was dangerous and could result in data loss, but everything went smoothly.
It logically follows that my computer is invincible and I can be as reckless as I want.

I'm already too old to bother keeping up with modern slang. My vocabulary is dated and a sign that I inch closer to death every day. To solve this, I plan to incorporate even older words and phrases with a curated sample of the youth's language.
