Sure, formula can feed and nourish the little one. Great. But the sense of satisfaction and relaxation oxytocin release and cholecystokenin activation cannot be replaced just like that. These may just happen for a few minutes, but for a growing baby, it means a lot & shapes their view of their world

A few years ago, I wouldn't know why it's relevant to point out that the mom is breastfeeding. Now, as a new mom myself, I fully understand why including that information is crucial. The sudden cessation of a source of food, comfort, and a sense of security dents a kid's growth trajectory & psyche.
