As someone married to an American, I can apply for the same green card as well. It is a valid pathway, but not something I'm keen to take for myself. This version of the US isn't somewhere I'd want to live in. Visit, sure, for a short while. Stay? Nah.

As someone married to an American, I can apply for the same green card as well. It is a valid pathway, but not something I'm keen to take for myself. This version of the US isn't somewhere I'd want to live in. Visit, sure, for a short while. Stay? Nah.
A few months ago, I made a calculator (g-sheets) that quantifies and adds a monetary value to housework, in a Philippine-centric setting. The narrative that homemaking is a free role should cease - housework is work, and SAHPs should be paid for the time, effort & value they provide.

Here because of @dalekamp.bsky.social. Hoping this is a better platform vs Threads, which, in my experience, deteriorated only to house flexing/humblebragging posts selling coaching slots/online courses for VAs, regurgitated IG xposts, and unavoidable soulless AI generated content.
