The biohacking subreddit is an incredibly bizarre mix of people who claim vitamin D is the only supplement people need and others who claim there is no harm in taking research drugs.

I enjoyed it. I’m the only one I know of.
December 28, 2025 at 5:55 AM
Wow so you haven’t bothered to read the conversation. Confirmed troll. That’s a block.
December 24, 2025 at 12:17 AM
I didn’t misinterpret anything. We disagree on a premise, and I made fun of it. You are DARVOing me and clearly trolling at this point.
December 23, 2025 at 10:41 PM
lol when has this been the case?

Also I asked the enbys in my life, and they have no idea what you’re talking about and think you’re just a troll.

It’s what Charlie would have wanted. Both sides are celebrating his death.
December 22, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Yes. I used your wording and its loose connection to crypto theory and the “post-left” shift (Greenwald) to make a clearly hyperbolic statement. I didn’t think people would take me seriously or be so hostile over slight disagreement.
December 22, 2025 at 5:38 PM
Seems a lot of people are missing the connection. Nerd.jpg thinks institutional processes shouldn’t require trust. Cryptobros have been saying the same thing for years (also I was clearly being hyperbolic):

Crypto and the Idea of Trustless Societies - Blockchain Council
Understand how blockchain and cryptocurrencies enable trustless systems that reshape governance, finance, and global collaboration.

What am I supposed to say then?
December 22, 2025 at 7:52 AM
You use context to understand that I’m being purposefully hyperbolic. You all sound those slate star codex people now
December 22, 2025 at 7:19 AM
Lol what the fuck? I have no idea what gender/sex nerdjpg identifies as. They’re a polyam Kirby to me.
December 22, 2025 at 4:28 AM
How did you even read it that way?

And ya a bit. It’s literally says it’s a joke
December 22, 2025 at 4:23 AM
I think you have it the wrong way ‘round. People disagree with it for various reasons some of which appear in the paper and others don’t. People are mad at you because *you* lack what the paper has.
December 21, 2025 at 10:28 PM
For the joke itself? Just the hardright turn so many posters have taken over the years after getting the slightest criticism. (Also some individuals)

For the criticism? Just the belief that trust isn’t foundational to institutions (specifically this case scientific practice and publichealth policy)
December 21, 2025 at 10:22 PM
For those confused, what’s confusing about this
December 21, 2025 at 10:01 PM
Lol that’s not at all where I was going with it. Jesus Christ
December 21, 2025 at 9:51 PM
Clinical practices are built on relationships and trust. They also don’t remove the need for trust.

Either way, thanks for the answer and clarification on your position/practices.
December 21, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Agree up until to the last part, especially as you said the opposite.
December 21, 2025 at 9:41 PM
I was just fucking with you and to be clear, I do agree with the principle, but as a serious question for your poly-practice: do you give each other access to your medical files?
December 21, 2025 at 9:27 PM
The same CDC that doesn’t recommend vaccines!!!!
