I often find that a "Strong 7" on The Black List can be more valuable than a flat out 8.

It's that "you're almost there" feedback that REALLY forces me to think critically about how to take the screenplay from good to great, finding that final twist, deeper stakes, plants/payoffs.

As someone whose screenplay portfolio consists almost entirely of musical projects, seeing WICKED get such universal acclaim gives me hope for the genre in this industry we call the film biz.
