Hey, I’m your friendly neighbourhood Canadian millennial. I sometimes put my education to use and write about music. I spend most of my time training dogs and wrangling my 9 month old baby…not usually at the same time.
Today is one of those days where I have 0 motivation to do anything except binge watch watch MasterChef Canada on the CTV app.
Also, why is the volume of ads vastly out of whack compared to the show? I’m listening at a comfortable volume, my neighbours don’t need to hear the Door Dash ad.

My dog (right) got to see her mom for a few minutes today when we dropped by the horse farm my mom helps out at. They haven’t seen each other in a few years, but were really good together.

I’m in a couple “Buy Nothing” groups on the book of faces (I’d love to get rid of it with the new changes, but I have people on there where it’s my only means of contact). I love the concept of Buy Nothing and the groups are generally wonderful. Rules are pretty simple and standard across groups: 1/

This is the back entrance of the building where I live. The fob that unlocks the door also opens the door, but you either have to run through it or grab the door as you go through. This defeats the whole purpose of its “accessibility” for those who need it.

The dog training school I started at (& still go to/teach at fairly regularly) has a doggy daycare during the day. I was by there to record a podcast with the owner of the school & before leaving I brought the baby to see the dogs. Both baby & dogs were THRILLED 😂
