Shameful especially as AAPI organizations are already severely underfunded.
"I felt this moment of betrayal." How a 15-month-old Instagram post cost one of the largest Asian American advocacy groups $250,000 in crucial funding — and why similar cuts are happening in silence across the progressive nonprofit world.

How a Single Instagram Post Cost One Nonprofit a Quarter of Its Budget
When a progressive group posted in support of Palestinians in Gaza, it saw funding evaporate. Similar fissures are reverberating across the nonprofit world.

Nobody who's saying "Haha you idiots should have voted for Kamala to protect the Palestinians" has ever supported the Palestinians. These are all the same people who spent last year telling everyone to shut up about Gaza and stop opposing an active genocide. They can get fucked.

Maybe watching a live and online genocide was so overwhelming I don’t feel that overwhelmed right now. The storm blowing over Gaza has simply turned around and we Americans are feeling the blowback. Racism, colonialism, capitalism, patriarchy, and transphobia are all part of the same storm system.
