Kachow! Not Funny. Never has been. He/Him.
I don't know where this fits in with those catagories but it is certainly a thing that exists. ebay.us/m/fYF3zw

I am proud that at the end of this engine and aero formula, which team and driver ended the Mercedes/Red Bull duopoly?

Not Alonso, Vettel, or Leclerc in a Ferrari. Not Hulkenberg, Ricciardo Ocon, or Alonso in a Renault. Not Vettel or Alonso in an Aston Martin.

Nope.

Lando Norris in a McLaren. 🧡🏆

All this is to say, how delighted and proud that the team I have supported since 2008 has managed to come back from the competitive wilderness and win again - and win big.

Not all teams can do that. I hope Williams is the next to do so, in one way or another.

The ground effect era started rough, but Norris being the only non RBR/Ferrari/Mercedes guy to podium in '22 was cool.

But the changes they made in 2023 where out the box the car was mid again, gave me some hope that things could get back on track... and boy did they.

Fighting for and getting regular podiums in the early part of 2021 with Lando was a sign that the background changes were working.

The win and 1-2 in Monza was so special. I still remember that feeling after waiting 9 years for us to finally win again.

Celebrating that return to the top three in Brazil 2019, and the podium proper for Lando at the return of F1 in 2020 during the pandemic. Carlos coming oh so close at Monza was promising.

I still have the image of the team celebrating P3 in the WCC from that season as one of my desktop wallpapers!

I was ecstatic last season when we won the first WCC in my lifetime, even if that was closer than it should have been too.

I remembered the McHonda days, when Button passing a Williams for P6 in Austria was a highlight. The Renault switch and the frankly ugly but ok-if-tricky car that produced.

More! This is what you get from going to races with Junior support catagories.

Nevermind the fact that the apex of a corner is not actually a geographical location, it ignores the fact that someone can earn the right to space on the inside, without intending on making an overtake in that moment.

The Mercedes-AMG F1 M16 ends this regulation cycle with the Power Unit title!

Honda get very close to Ferrari in their last season powering the Red Bull teams, with the Renault's E-Tech RE25 helping the French marque bow out of F1 a mere 107 points behind them.

Next up, 2026. New rules. New names.

Bortoleto's points mean that, despite being beaten by them today, Sauber finish ahead of Williams in the European Constructors, courtesy of Hulkenburg's Silverstone podium! What a step up from '24!

VCARB hold on to P5, Aston drop to 8th, Haas ensure Alpine finish last.

Nobody got close to McLaren.

McLaren won it last time round, but now Ferrari have locked down 2nd in the ECC!

Red Bull's grip on third however is not too strong yet. Technically anyone down to Sauber could end up third...

Williams give their hopes of moving up a boost, while Haas jumped Alpine for 9th. One more race to go...

McLaren defend their European Constructors crown!

They've already scored more then they did last season, and still have two whole races left to go further! Red Bull's record of 357 from the 10 race 2022 season, could well be beaten...

Mercedes retain the Power Unit championship, with their F1 M16!
