Kachow! Not Funny. Never has been. He/Him.
I am proud that at the end of this engine and aero formula, which team and driver ended the Mercedes/Red Bull duopoly?

Not Alonso, Vettel, or Leclerc in a Ferrari. Not Hulkenberg, Ricciardo Ocon, or Alonso in a Renault. Not Vettel or Alonso in an Aston Martin.

Nope.

Lando Norris in a McLaren. 🧡🏆

From the start. 🧡

The Mercedes-AMG F1 M16 ends this regulation cycle with the Power Unit title!

Honda get very close to Ferrari in their last season powering the Red Bull teams, with the Renault's E-Tech RE25 helping the French marque bow out of F1 a mere 107 points behind them.

Next up, 2026. New rules. New names.

Bortoleto's points mean that, despite being beaten by them today, Sauber finish ahead of Williams in the European Constructors, courtesy of Hulkenburg's Silverstone podium! What a step up from '24!

VCARB hold on to P5, Aston drop to 8th, Haas ensure Alpine finish last.

Nobody got close to McLaren.
September 7, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Oscar Piastri defends the European Championship!

Despite gaining some ground, Norris didn't do enough at Monza to make up for the technical failure at Zandvoort.

Verstappen's season is bookmarked with wins in Italy, as Albon's 7th place sucres that same position for him in the European standings!
September 7, 2025 at 9:32 PM
McLaren won it last time round, but now Ferrari have locked down 2nd in the ECC!

Red Bull's grip on third however is not too strong yet. Technically anyone down to Sauber could end up third...

Williams give their hopes of moving up a boost, while Haas jumped Alpine for 9th. One more race to go...
August 31, 2025 at 11:03 PM
F1 European Championship standings after Zandvoort!

Oscar's win while Lando's car let him down means he moves to the top heading into a winner takes all finale at Monza!

Hadjar gets his first podium finish, while Russell, Albon, and Bearman all impress. Antonelli has another race to forget.
August 31, 2025 at 9:25 PM
McLaren defend their European Constructors crown!

They've already scored more then they did last season, and still have two whole races left to go further! Red Bull's record of 357 from the 10 race 2022 season, could well be beaten...

Mercedes retain the Power Unit championship, with their F1 M16!
August 3, 2025 at 3:48 PM
F1 European Championship heading into the summer break!

Another 1-2 for McLaren to celebrate their 200th F1 win means it's only their two drivers in the hunt!

Leclerc's race faulters, handing P3 to George. Great drives from Bortoleto, the two AMR's, and Lawson.

Antonelli finally gets a point!
August 3, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Lando just makes too many mistakes, that's the issue.
August 3, 2025 at 3:14 PM
McLaren's fourth consecutive 1-2 finish means they have a very strong lead in the ECC.

Despite scoring today, Sauber's time in P4 is over, at least for now, as Mercedes overtake them. 4th to 7th very tight!

The Mercedes-AMG F1 M16 takes yet enother victory!
July 27, 2025 at 10:46 PM
Oscar Piastri takes his second win of the European season!

The gap closes up at the front. Albon, Lawson, and Bortoleto with very good days. Aston Martin with.. not that.

Antonelli gets his best result of the season, a 16th with a cheeky fastest lap. It's still not going great for that Mercedes...
July 27, 2025 at 10:43 PM
Nico was always better than just a journeyman F1 driver. But finally, and way later than anyone thought it would be back in 2012, he gets some silverware.

You can see it through many different lenses. But I see it as a lesson in not giving up. And he's not gonna be done yet, either.
July 6, 2025 at 11:05 PM
Ferrari's points from today come from Hulkenberg, while the Renault E-Tech RE25 beats it's 2024 total already!
July 6, 2025 at 8:53 PM
McLaren are running away with it in the European Constructors too.

Only Ferrari are vaguely in the same ballpark, despite Leclerc's bad day. Every other team is either basically a one car operation, or irregular point scorers.

Nico's first podium moved Sauber up to P4, ahead of Mercedes!
July 6, 2025 at 8:48 PM
Lando Norris wins his home race, leading home another McLaren 1-2!

HULKENBERG PODIUM HULKENBERG PODIUM HULKENBERG PODIUM HULKENBERG PODIUM.

Good result for Gasly and Alpine, while Lance Stroll finally scores!

Not so good for Mercedes, as Antonelli remains bolted to the bottom of the table.
July 6, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Solid late night listening, folks.
July 2, 2025 at 11:28 PM
The Mercedes-AMG F1 M16 extends it's lead at the top of the PU standings, while Honda's points today come from Liam Lawson!
June 29, 2025 at 9:04 PM
McLaren pulling away once again!

Red Bull risk being swallowed by the chasing pack - which includes VCARB, who are also tied with Mercedes!

Sauber's first double points move them close to Williams' P6, while Alonso's points today mean Aston Martin climb off the bottom of the table - just.
June 29, 2025 at 9:02 PM
F1 European Championship after Austria!

McLaren post back-to-back 1-2 finishes, but for the first time it's Lando's turn to lead them home!

Max fails to score, knocking him down the order a bit. Great day for Lawson and Bortoleto!

Antonelli's terrible European season continues.
June 29, 2025 at 8:18 PM
McLaren keep scoring highly, while Red Bull only having one car getting meaningful points so far means they remain P3.

All teams have now scored, with Alonso's 9th place moving Aston Martin from P8 to... P10.

Renault finally get on the board, while Honda's PU points come from Isack Hadjar today!
June 1, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Oscar Piastri makes it three different winners in as many European races! Norris makes it a McLaren 1-2!

Hulkenberg grabs a sensational P5, as the second highest Ferrari powered car! Gasly and Alonso also score their first points of the European season.

Tough times for Antonelli's Mercedes.
