Fwiw I didn’t join the British armed forces because of any ideology. I wanted travel, adventure & do public service, country agnostic. Did 2 tours in Afghanistan, sometimes asking myself why I was there & didn’t have a good answer, but still did my job. Ideology didn’t have anything to do with it 🤷

Meanwhile where possible I actively avoid interacting with a whole swathe of British people - who I *want* to be strangers with - like your Reform voters. I wonder if that fails an integration test?

There are plenty of examples where dominant market leaders disappear virtually overnight. It is the same in politics. Those who promise you of the „good old times“ lack the imagination of something new and are driven by fear and hate, while selling you snake oil, enriching themselves in the process.
