I would rather have Autism (which I do) than die of preventable disease or spread disease to others. Anti-vaxers are uneducated self-centered morons.

And yet they still don’t get it. And let’s be real “Christians” actually ignore most of their book too. Because there is no hypocrisy quite like Christian hypocrisy.

Routinely took our family to Starbucks for drinks and snacks - probably 2-3 times a week on average. I especially enjoy the Impossible sandwich. But our family stopped going entirely a little over a year ago. We will not support a company who actively fights against supporting their own workers.
Current steward here. Now is the time to proclaim your love for Starbucks (Lie, won't be your first, won't be your last), but emphasize your loyalty to the worker.
Let them think you'd like to go, but you only support benevolent management.

The IRS is reportedly not offering its Direct File program next year. Here’s a look back at how TurboTax owner Intuit spent two decades fighting to prevent Americans from filing their taxes online for free:

Inside TurboTax’s 20-Year Fight to Stop Americans From Filing Their Taxes for Free
Using lobbying, the revolving door and “dark pattern” customer tricks, Intuit fended off the government’s attempts to make tax filing free and easy, and created its multi-billion-dollar franchise.

I don't want my appliances to be connected to the internet. I don't want them to have blinky lights or touch screen controls or be accessible by phone. All I want is for them to do the one thing they are supposed to do, and to beep less.

Hear that, manufacturers? Less beeping.
