A handful of tomatoes from the compost volunteers I planted in Spring! The heatwave and wrong pH has killed this section of the patch so I'll have to rebuild and replant it, but at least these were tasty.

I haven't made adobo in a while and we had company over, so I went all out tonight. The kids hoovered it up which is the ultimate compliment!

J and I went on a behind the scenes historical tour of White Bay Power Station today! The MHNSW tour guides were excellent and there is so much interesting (and sad) history in this building. I took a ton of photos, might dump more of them on Pixelfed later.

We tried something a bit different for Science Week this year and headed to Mount Annan Botanic Garden with @leenabeans.bsky.social. Had fun talking to scientists and doing some science together and got some really cool freebies, some of which are already in our garden 🌱

I rehabbed my poor rusty Felco 4 today! The thumb catch screw took a beating when I undid it, but it still works fine.

If someone puts a tool sharpening minigame in their farming/garden game I'll be there 👀
