I know it's heartbreaking and discouraging when ICE succeeds in kidnapping someone despite the neighborhood showing up.
But people showing up, delaying them, making ICE waste half their shift, is still an effective nonviolent organizing tactic especially at scale.

The government will save billions through this decision. But we should be clear that this is money that has come directly out of the pockets of low-paid female workers. I didn’t think the National Party would stoop this low to pay for it’s tax cuts. www.rnz.co.nz/news/politic...

It's been 19,191 days since the Equal Pay Act 1972. Yet we are about to pass under urgency in two days a bill that will make its delivery even harder. Why in 2025 is this still a discussion? Unequal pay costs us all money - either through welfare or slower growth.

Social worker! Very important job!! Hold lives in your hands, etc ... but we pay these folk not very much after requiring them to do FOUR TO SIX YEARS of study. Oh, and 84% of them are female.
