Disabled women lose thousands of dollars each year to the wage gap. That’s money that could cover rent, food, and child care.

This injustice is solvable — if policymakers act. #DisabledWomensEqualPayDay

Congress must pass the #FAIRAct to restore everyone’s rights to join together to hold big banks and corporations accountable when they cause harm to groups of workers or consumers. #EndForcedArbitration

Over half of workers are subject to a forced arbitration clause. That means over half of workers have had their right to choose to go to court stripped away. It’s time to #EndForcedArbitration and restore workers’ access to justice. www.nelp.org/insights-res...

The #DepartmentOfLabor is trying to quietly undo a major #CivilRights & #labor victory: they want to strip wage protections for home care #workers.

This isn’t about cutting costs, it’s about erasing care workers.

Tell the DOL: Care work is essential.

A new NELP report describes how employers are increasingly using bossware and digital technologies to monitor and micromanage every second in a worker’s day. Our #labor and employment laws aren’t keeping up. bit.ly/stop-bossware

📣 App-based #workers are demanding fair pay and #transparency.

A new bill would:
✅ Give drivers 75% of each fare
⚖️ Guarantee equal pay for equal work
🧾 Create pay transparency

Today, on #Juneteenth, we honor the fight for #freedom and the #labor that built this country. After emancipation, Black workers demanded dignity, safety, and fair pay, even as they faced racial terror and exclusion from many jobs.

The fight is not over. What are you doing to honor Juneteenth?
