My theory is that a lot of people who totally excel at something - sport, comedy or whatever are usually a bit bonkers. To be absolutely better than everyone else or more famous, you need to be obsessed. And that obsession can easily attach to something else for some folks

Was quite gruesome. On the underground. Would have tried to stop it, but the attacked animal was already quite mauled so not sure what I could do

The other day I really fancied a jacket spud and beans, but had nothing in the house as I’d been away. Wandered to the shop and bought a spud, a tin of beans and some cheese. Felt quite exposed.
