It makes me furious that for almost two decades I was a carer for my disabled daughter, providing round the clock care, saving the state hundreds of thousands of pounds. Now I'm dealing with my own disability the govt tells me I'm a burden. How dare they.

Bringing austerity to the poorest and most vulnerable and blaming it on the other side is something we've seen before.

Just because you don't use the word doesn't mean it's not happening. I expected better from a Labour govt

Have to admit, as a Labour Party member with a disability who gave up and donated after being bombarded with GE emails begging me to do so for weeks on end, I feel pretty stupid now they want to take away the small amount of money that helps me live

Before today, if you'd asked me who Butch and Suni were, I would've either gone children's television presenters or German Shepherds.

If the govt wants to save on sickness benefits, particularly regarding depression and anxiety, then first they need to invest in NHS mental health services, making them fit for purpose and hire more mental health professionals so people aren't deteriorating while they wait.

I'm single this Valentine's Day. Dinner-for-two emails feel brutal. Might book one, drink a bottle of wine while I'm 'waiting', do some angry sobbing, announce, 'It's not like 6th Sense, you know, this fucker's alive' then storm out hoping they're too scared to charge me for the wine.

I was a 24/7 carer for my autistic daughter for a decade before I was told I qualified for Carers Allowance. It would be nice if, alongside figures of the cost of the welfare in this country, it could be reported how much carers SAVE the taxpayers.

Is it just me or does the Direct Line 'poor badly done to landlords' advert not elicit an awful lot of sympathy?

INSTRUCTIONS: Do not let the water boil dry when steaming the pudding.

ME: What kind of idiot can't even stream a pudding?

Passenger 57 is on. Wesley Snipes' does a brilliant fence jump about 15 minutes from the end. Literally the only good thing about the film.

I'm currently installing in my kitchen genuine vintage units while wearing a genuine vintage dress and yet the thing I did today that made me feel the most retro was I wrote a cheque.
