I have said this before: if you use a password manager correctly, #passkeys adds less value. But this isn’t about you. Your friends and family benefit much more from passkeys. If you are telling your friends and your audience not to use […]

I am not sure why people seem surprised that undocumented workers are often people who have been in their communities for years or decades. But it could be because people assume the rules for immigration are reasonable and just. We assume there is a path to green card and citizen. There isn’t.

Here’s a handy guide to how to publish your videos with different aspect ratio:
Wide videos: Publish it like that
Tall videos: Publish it like that
Square videos: Publish it like that
YOU DON’T HAVE TO PUT STUPID FRAMES AROUND VIDEOS! All the sites you post videos on are fine with them, any size!

We should feed people AND we should push for a living wage. If you work full time and also qualify for SNAP, it’s your employer getting the “benefit”.

I just voted #yeson50 so we can cancel out Trump’s cheating. Join me to help save the nation.
We can’t unilaterally disarm while Republicans are still running REDMAP full time. Some estimates are that GOP gerrymandering already got them 26 seats. Prop 50 cancels out GOP fückery and then expires […]

Hi @IceCubesApp I love the app but I’m hating the Load More button that just appeared. I prefer to start with old posts and scroll up to see posts from old to new. Now, refresh shows me 10 newest posts and each tap on Load More brings slightly older posts so I am forced to read new to old […]

What's the name for this type of stupid UI bug?
I see something on my screen and I click on it.
The UI gets redrawn or shifted so items on the screen are shifted
The device finally acts on my click but applies it to some UI element that moved under my cursor after I clicked
Is the correct […]

"We are going to have to live here with each other" is the exact premise that Republicans do not agree about. Their proposition is mass immiseration, mass expulsion and mass murder. The only way to oppose political violence and avoid further political violence is to contend directly with that fact.
"All I can say for me in the work I do is that I want to create a space that takes our disagreements seriously, that takes the stakes of them seriously, the consequences for people seriously, but does so without deepening our divisions irreparably. We are going to have to live here with each other"

Look, I don’t care about Charlie Kirk and I agree that gun violence is terrible and we should fight gun violence and fight for reasonable gun control.

Do you know who would disagree with all that more than anyone? Charlie Kirk. Makes me wonder if he reconsidered his views in his final hour. Hmm

Who is in charge of Progressivism these days? Is there a web site or mailing list? Is there a wiki with our core values, or a daily feed to remind #progressives what we have in common and what we should be doing next?

Serious question, who is doing this work?

Republicans actually killing people
+ Democrats not Progressive enough
= Join up and vote for better Democrats

Seriously #progressives there’s no third party coming to save us. The Dems are the only other player in this race. Organize locally and get in their tent, vote in their primary!

#progressives
There are three ways to make #democrats more Progressive like us
* Call Dems in Congress and tell them you want them to be more Progressive
* Vote in Dem primary for more Progressive candidates
* Run for something, state Rep or county DNC

We need to join up and push from inside.
