Yeah, I'm not liking this trend towards AI to generate frames, rather than just... rendering. I was mainly interested so I could move the 4090 to the lab for CUDA-related reasons.
I'm not so interested in it that I want to burn my house down though.
24GB, btw, is more than sufficient for VRC!

It's under investigation, supposedly, but it looks like a possible power design issue coupled with almost no headroom in the 12VHPWR\12V-2x6 spec. causing relevant leads\cables to heat up to the point of... melting.

I don't use a lot of the featureset Synology provides with their DiskStation products, but both devices I've had have worked great. I find DSM very easy to use and they haven't really given me any issues yet.

I mean this satirically when I say it, but I can't wait for this compulsory feature (it's a dependency of File Explorer) to be be one of the things malicious actors start exfiltrating from compromised systems.
