The Washington Post Got 21,000 Emails After It Didn't Endorse. I Read Them All.
Reading and editing letters gave me a theory about what is wrong with America — and how it could be fixed.

every time you think the new WaPo editorial board can't embarrass itself any more, they manage to find a way.

Left: 'Texas gerrymandering is no big deal!', from August.
Right: 'Maryland gerrymandering is an affront to Western civilization!', from today.

Hi Bluesky 👋

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Journalists who work themselves into a lather over whatever AI chatbot they're using not giving them correct info about current events give me no confidence in their basic research capabilities. It takes 10 seconds to find info like github.com/HaoooWang/ll...
GitHub - HaoooWang/llm-knowledge-cutoff-dates: This repository contains a summary of knowledge cut-off dates for various large language models (LLMs), such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and more.

Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

Both the Washington Post and NY Times could jettison their political reporters and columnists and replace them with Teen Vogue/Vanity Fair staffers and come out ahead with respect to delivering clear-eyed political journalism.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
