Do you actually want ECB or do you want the raw block cipher? I’m struggling to see how ECB is a useful primitive otherwise. (And if you want the raw block cipher isn’t CBC with a null IV ok, or does it always add padding in WebCrypto?)

My editor when I was writing a book was very keen that you should show what you want people to use first.

Personally, I would start with MAC then add encryption (eg EtM), so that every step is showing something not broken. Then you can round out the details in a “mistakes to avoid” section.

I was just reading this on the train. You mention that LRMs use reinforcement learning but the reinforcement comes from whether they got the answer correct - if they’re evaluated against a correct answer isn’t that supervised again?
