Shockingly, it's #LetterboxdFriday again, so it requires my #LastFourWatched.

Another #LetterboxdFriday and thus, another #LastFourWatched.

Watched a lot of great movies this week, including...

Sweatiest movie ever?

The Yautja's Buff Boys Buffet.

Hitchcock on a boat.

Coffee is bad for your health.

Good run already of November film picks. 4 stars for Dr. Strangelove, Three Days of the Condor, Friendship, and The Petrified Forest.

But the standout is Eva Victor's superb debut Sorry, Baby. Victor handles the triple threat of director, writer, and actor impressively, as well as tonal shifts.

Weather is atrocious so Trick r' Treating might be off, but at least me and my daughter made some Jack O' Lanterns and watched Young Frankenstein.

A Halloween #LetterboxdFriday with a suitably seasonal #LastFourWatched of...

Two helpings of comedy Frankenstein.

One of several underwhelming Resident Evil movies.

Possibly the most unnecessary sequel of the decade, nay, century.

Wouldn't you know it, it's #LetterboxdFriday again.

I guess that means a #LastFourWatched then, and the theme appears to be...

Monster Movies.

It's #LetterboxdFriday already, and for my #LastFourWatched I saw...

Devon Sawa getting handsy.

Yokai Assembling.

Ethan Hawke preparing a delicious meal.

One of my favourite films of 2025.

There were better versions of my #LastFourWatched ahead of #LetterboxdFriday this week, but alas, it's a mixed bag of...

Rock dumb decision making (in Ireland)

A sequel with an unenviable task.

An enjoyably strange modern J-horror.

The seasonal standard.

It's #LetterboxdFriday, so naturally, I must share my #LastFourWatched.

Competent found footage horror.

Frustrating video game-infused J-Horror.

Comedy that hits me in the soft part of my belly.

Excellent body horror madness.

My #LastFourWatched on this #LetterboxdFriday is again, all about one director.
September 26, 2025 at 1:44 PM
It's #LetterboxdFriday, and it's a very simple #LastFourWatched for me as it's all 5 star Paul Thomas Anderson movies.
September 19, 2025 at 10:22 AM
Another #LetterboxdFriday, another #LastFourWatched.

Romero & Argento go Poe.

Cronenberg does grief the Cronenberg way.

80s horror retrospective.

Lumet's fantastic family drama.

About to hit the halfway point on my #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days and what better way to mark it than with an Argento & Romero team up?
September 11, 2025 at 10:00 PM
If Paul Thomas Anderson says I should check another film out ahead of his latest, I'm absolutely going to.

On this first #LetterboxdFriday of the month, my #LastFourWatched features...

Subversive sequel to a thrilling Japanese horror movie.

Gothic horror with less bite than advertised.

Ball-striking comedy gem.

And innuendo-laden seasonal fun.

A good start to September so far!

It's #LetterboxdFriday, so that means #LastFourWatched, which features...

Beats, drugs, and a disused factory.

An alcoholic ex-sports player takes on an invasive plant.

An alcoholic ex-sports player endures a catsitting for the ages.

Short about deaf people experiencing an apocalyptic event.

Playing the horror game Luto and found you can watch Night of the Living Dead on an old TV in the game. So, I guess this is gonna be my latest rewatch of the film.
August 24, 2025 at 11:41 AM
Broke up the horror-watching run for Samara Weaving in Eenie Meanie.

Worth it. A fun crime caper with some emotional depth. Weaving is great, obviously.
August 23, 2025 at 2:20 PM
Another #LetterboxdFriday with a #LastFourWatched consisting of...

A summer trip to LV 426 (great all year round).

A trip to Mykonos (it's murder)

A trip to the beach (not like I remembered it)

A trip to the beach (exactly how I remembered it)

A Blu-ray rewatch of Ticks solidified it as a firm favourite creature feature. Also, it's nice to finally own the film I first saw 30 years ago whilst staying at my Nan's house.

Still the best Alfonso Ribero performance, too.
