Almost done my second week at my new job. Only part time for now but hopefully next month will go to full time. So far so good. I think the new boss likes me.

Started watching Severance last night. Did not like the first episode but a friend told me to keep going. By third I was starting to enjoy it. The 7th episode had me howling with laughter over the 5 minute MDE. Not going to spoil what that is but it's hilarious.

Went on my first first date in 20 years yesterday. Took her to a pup picnic at Taves Apple Cidery with our dogs. I'm not sure if I passed or not but she did text later that night asking me for a second one so I'm going to my first art exhibit on Tuesday.

Got pulled over for a breathalyzer for the first time tonight. Every time I've ever gone through a check stop I've been waived through so it was different to have the lights come on as soon as I left the pub. I'm fine, I didn't have much to drink, and I think he was irritated with how low I blew.

Just got back from my third cardiologist. I'm not sure why I have 3 but I do. One is neutral, the surgeon wants to give me a pacemaker, and the third says medication and lifestyle changes have me on the mend and I don't need one. What's a boy to do?

I think I have a job. Today's assignment, write my own job description and how I would achieve their objectives. Start date is Monday next week but I haven't received a contract to sign yet so not set in stone.
