Fair assessment. My thinking is Pallante is a long term piece. Matz and Mikolas are both walking at the end of the year (I hope).

Also, I think Matz and Mikolas continue to get guaranteed spots because of their contracts. STL FO doesn’t like to admit mistakes, especially $28M worth of mistakes.

This is not the rotation I want, but it’s the rotation we’ll get.

Herrera should get the bulk of the catching duties along with some DH days. When he’s in the line up, he’s your 2nd or 3rd best bat

Winn is fine at leadoff, I think he’ll grow into it.

It’s tempting to try Libby one more time in the rotation, but I say leave him in the pen where he found success

Burley probably should be the DH, but they want Gorm to get ABs. Nado still being here really squeezes a lot of Burley ABs

Even with a new swing, I think we’re going to have to deal with the extreme hot/cold steaks. Hopefully more hot than cold this year though.

If Albert isn’t the first unanimous position player, there will never be one.

If a voter has the mindset that there should never be a unanimous HOFer, then that person deserves to lose their vote
