You are most welcome. I think you'll like it. I will look for you there.

I am with you. I am a subscriber as well, and this is shows very poor judgement.

This shows an appalling lack of judgement by the FT to publish this trash. There is no reason to give this dangerous moron a mouthpiece. As a long- time subscriber, I am seriously considering canceling. At the very least, this should have been published with a counter by someone with a clue.

Let's discuss when we have both watched.

Good point. Looking for the best in people is my usual, but this darker perspective is really intriguing me. I need to make time to watch them both back- to- back.
February 28, 2025 at 7:11 AM
Oh, this is an interesting perspective. I must watch it again. Now I am wondering if this holds true in Summertime. I have long felt there was something dark about that film. Both are my fav Lean films.

From their email this week: "In March, our focus will be on adding 1-2 new discovery features. One of these will be the ability to search by First and Last Name on the Discovery Page."

Also: "..adding a new section on the Discovery Page to show you mutual accounts you aren't following yet."

Everyday this White House chooses from a dictator's playbook. This one is clearly from Putin's playbook. Will we soon see a further consolidation of the press? Murders? Scary times.

I am loving this and appreciate that it is inclusive so both ios and android are welcome. Not all creatives are 🍎 users.

I would love to know what you think.

He was excellent. The entire cast was. Honestly, it was a pretty perfect movie. And Domingo is nominated this year, so it must have been 2024.
February 20, 2025 at 6:35 PM
I am sure that my experience seeing it in the theater ruined it for me. It doesn't help that I do not like the music. lol

Have you seen Sing Sing yet? I wanted that to be nominated for best picture. This year, the top films are not terribly exciting. Conclave was good, loved the acting.
February 20, 2025 at 6:15 PM
I am excited to watch too, but only after we have finished our sprint in watching all the Oscar noms we can. Well except Wicked. I can't do it. I disliked the musical so much that even thinking about watching a movie version makes me want to wretch.

He's great in Reacher. Clearly he's also a pretty great guy.

I like those finalists. No Gable though. That's too bad.

I have opinions.. What are you thinking?

Read it in 1988 while in high school. Never looked back. Destroy the patriarchy! I am gifting this to my niece when she turns 16 in 2 weeks.

Every time I take a ferry into a city - usually SF or NYC - this movie is on my head. It's so good.

That's gotta be Sanders, right? As the kids say today "no notes". Perfect.
February 17, 2025 at 1:39 AM
Without the typo - not it's. Ugh why can't there be an edit post here?

He is despicable.
