he will walk around flicking his paw meowing as if he’s not the one causing his own pain.

It doubled in size so I took him to the vet and they sent me home saying probably a tendon injury and to keep him off it and on painkillers.
He was gnawing on it so I asked if it could be an infection. ”No chance.”
