AI is really really good at creating really really ugly pictures. None of that here (and no photoshop either).

There is truth in real photographs, which is why AI is out to destroy real photography.
Now you can bring the slop anywhere with you

Recently some voices on the right have been trying to claim Norman Rockwell as one of their own. He was not.

Here's his picture of Ruby Bridges.

I doubt Larry Ellison has any understanding of what he is destroying. If it does, I doubt he has any sympathy.

William Shirer, Edward R Murrow, Walter Cronkite. CBS was once the great truth teller, beamed every night into America's living rooms. You don't know what you've got till it's gone...

So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."

A fine example of the kind of chunky looking general that Hegseth wants to purge from the military.

Check out Mike Bloomberg's expression, who made his billions legitimately, no rip-offs, ran for president and lost. Then check out Vance.

(disclaimer. I used to work for Bloomberg)

Where he would have passed this very large and very weird painting by Benjamin West every day. I can't help seeing an influence there...

Stare at this #painting long enough and you will grow new brain cells.

Really.

You will.

At this stage in his life #Mondrian would create a prototype using colored tape, then spend weeks moving the tapes a few millimeters at a time until the painting clicked into place.

It clicks. Why?

Davy Crockett on the Trail of Tears.

The ORIGINAL trail of tears.

Not the fake one down the street.

Believe it or not, this is a real place.

Stare at this #painting long enough and you will grow new brain cells.

Really.

Just try it.

Newburyport Marshes by Martin Johnson Heade.

Heade was never JUST painting a landscape. There's a lot going on below the surface.

Real art grows your brain. AI shrinks it.

Or is this what you want us to return to. This is an actual sign outside an abandoned coal mine about 80 miles SW of my house. As the wind turbines went up the mines closed down. Perhaps what you mean is we should be doing more for the displaced coal miners, who are hurting. I agree with that

For those who are curious, this is the full statue. No it is NOT a Jeff Koons. It's outside an actual MacDonalds. Or maybe it IS by Koons and he placed it there as guerrilla art.

Not AI. Not photoshop. Real place. Go find it. But personally it scared the **** out of me.
