tookyo isn’t really responsible for tribe nine, they just did BGM/character design work and came up with some initial story concepts. it’s akatsuki’s game. tookyo seemingly doesn’t even profit off it

need a source on this because they’ve been super transparent about only tookyo’s responsibilities being character designs + BGM + story concept seeds—the actual developer of the game is akatsuki games. hndr was always tookyo’s passion project

even the stuff regarding HPA’s testing + attendance structure was implicitly just more retcon bullshit unless I’ve forgotten some incredibly obscure side conversation from the first two games

this is admittedly skipping through some stuff that I've already read in other routes + I'm a decently fast reader regardless. but. I can't believe I spent 143 hours of my life on one game in such a short amount of time

okay. final hundred line route tierlist, probably. maybe. certain routes with multiple large sub-branches (that meaningfully deviate from each other) could be categorised more granularly & better if I wanted to edit this but. eh

obviously a part of this is just. junko was already komaeda's primary foil. but I do think ending 3 in particular kind of got my ass from this lens. so much to say about how eito feels like he directly addresses most of my primary complaints about where they took her as a character lol
