I like that a bunch of people play the game series where a big thesis is 'don't judge someone by who they are on the surface; everyone is fighting their own battles and you won't understand what they've been through unless you take the time to get to know them' just to ignore the ..

honestly feels worse than it does with akane because one of akane’s major character traits is that she deals with stress by focusing on her survival needs and tuning out anything requiring introspection. it’s unsatisfying, but there’s at least a narrative justification for it
I don't know why I'm posting about the tsukumos when I came away thinking they were more or less just okay because they were extremely prevalent while simultaneously being underutilised. outside of route 0 they have the SDR2 akane problem where they're just kind of threatening you with a story
