One of the issues is the switch from cartridges to discs brought prices down quite a bit because some games, especially in the NES and SNES era, had real hardware costs for games, custom mappers and chips that added a significant amount to the production cost.

There was an episode of a forgettable TV sitcom called Yes, Dear where the main character’s wife brought up Urotsukidoji by name and then kept referencing it in a way that was like “oh she’s *into this* into this” and it was maybe the funniest thing that show ever did.

You’d almost think that humanities education is important for creating well-rounded people with critical thinking skills. But let’s try cutting arts funding in favor of STEM and football a little more just in case.

There have been several studies that show people cannot tell the difference in taste between eggs when blindfolded or when food color is applied to the eggs. The difference in taste is entirely an effect of visual appeal.
