Here's the part where all the unconstitutional stuff thrown at the wall by 47 to see what sticks starts to fall.

But not before lives are upended, websites are scrubbed, people - children - are told they aren't welcome, and countless resources are spent. I'm spitting mad at this country.
Judge largely blocks Trump's executive orders ending federal support for DEI programs
A U.S. district judge granted a preliminary injunction blocking the administration from terminating or changing federal contracts they consider equity-related.

The devastation is not immediate, which is what makes it so insidious.

The truth is, this was always the plan. The government trims just enough from the bones to let the rot set in, and when the foundations start to crumble, they will say the only answer is to sell off the ruins.

The 3400 firings at USFS cut staffing "by about 10 percent, potentially making it harder for the federal government to address increasingly intense wildfires and manage millions of acres of federal forests and grasslands."

"I’m not sure when human and planetary well-being became partisan issues, but they shouldn't be. We need to arrive at a place of moral clarity: it is wrong to persecute a group of people because they are different from you, it is wrong to disparage our planet and rob generations of their futures."

New, from me: DOGE's mass firings of probationary employees are a masterclass in how not to manage public organizations.
They don’t have a plan to fix what they are breaking because they don’t understand or care about the damage they are doing. 🧵

I linked DOGE staffer Marko Elez to a deleted X account that advocated repealing the Civil Rights Act, backed a “eugenic immigration policy,” and wrote, “You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity."

He just resigned. www.wsj.com/tech/doge-st...

I'm holding on for dear life to the last "yes, but" section:

"Yes, but: ... The legislative branch has historically resisted such moves, including during Trump's first term. ... With slim majorities in both chambers, it's unlikely to pass, if it even reaches to a floor vote." 🤞🤮

The six young men raiding US personnel data for Elon Musk are now among the world’s biggest intelligence targets, yes. They have access to tons of sensitive info, and are in way over their heads.

Safe to say plans to try hacking, bribes, blackmail, honey pots—you name it—are already in the works.
All those kids on Musk's payroll are absolutely being targeted by foreign intelligence now, that is if their boss hasn't already just handed everything over. They'll all have girlfriends named Natasha by the end of the week.
