I was just a kid. But I remember my friend telling me that her parents told her we’d all have to become Catholic if he won. This horrified me at the time because I didn’t want to have to wear a uniform to school. 😬

These folks were the hall monitors in middle school who had to run to the teacher to report skirts an inch too high, or that Susie was hanging out with that delinquent tattooed guy. The rest of us grew up and learned to mind our own business and just ignore those who aren’t in lockstep.

It’s appalling that so many already have the torches and pitchforks out before even knowing whether it’s arson or not. Lots of other things could be the cause. House in my old neighborhood went up like this about 2 years ago. Propane tank went boom.

It’s in poor taste, for sure. But we don’t even know what started the fire yet. The leap to terrorism is premature.

There are still unconfirmed reports that they zip tied kids “together”. That’s dead wrong, and traumatic enough, if true. But somebody knowingly put out this still from a clearly labeled video to get people outraged. And it’s working.
